SIGLENT Technologies has announced the release of the new X-Series instrument family: The SDG6000X series pulse/arbitrary waveform generators. Maximum bandwidths range from 200 to 500 MHz, depending on the model. In addition, with a maximum 2.4 GS/s sampling rate, and 16 bit vertical resolution, this high-speed generator offers higher resolution than a typical function generator and provides more accurate and precise waveform details.
The SDG6000X overcomes the inherent weaknesses in DDS technology of output pulses, enabling the rise / fall times and widths of pulse functions to have a much broader adjustment range, thanks to SIGLENT’s EasyPulse Technology. The rise/fall times of the SDG6000X can be set to as low as 1 ns, comparable to much higher – priced units. Siglent’s TrueArb technology gives the SDG6000X the ability to output arbitrary waveforms point by point, not skipping over any data points and missing details in the waveform, but always providing a very high quality, low jitter signal.
