Flir One Edge Is Now Flir Edge: Same Trusted Innovation, Simplified Name

Flir is always looking for ways to make it easier for customers to find, understand, and use their technology. That’s why they’re simplifying the name of the mobile thermal camera series. Flir One Edge and Flir One Edge Pro are now Flir Edge and Flir Edge Pro.

This change reflects how the series has evolved beyond the original Flir One family to become a next-generation solution for professionals who need powerful, wireless thermal imaging in the field. Going forward, Flir One Gen 3 will simply be called Flir One.

The updated naming makes it easier to navigate the mobile thermal imaging portfolio. “Flir Edge” now stands on its own as the newest generation in the lineup, designed for flexibility, connectivity, and professional use. “Flir One” remains the trusted compact thermal camera series.

If you’ve previously searched for or owned a Flir One Edge, don’t worry—all product pages and resources will automatically redirect to the new Flir Edge pages. You’ll continue to receive the same product support, firmware updates, and accessories (more info).
