Rohde & Schwarz announced the launch of the R&S^®TSMS8 super wideband mobile network scanner, alongside the complementary R&S^®TSMS-OMN8 broadband antenna. This groundbreaking solution substantially expands testing capabilities, enabling mobile network operators, service providers, and government agencies to optimize network performance, improve efficiency, and prepare for the future of mobile communications, including 6G.

The R&S^®TSMS8 scans an unparalleled frequency range of 10 MHz to 8.5 GHz, covering a broader spectrum than any competing scanner on the market. A front-end bandwidth of up to 400 MHz and the outstanding scanning speed make the TSMS8 a unique scanner solution, allowing for significantly more measurements in the same drive testing route, reducing re-drives and boosting efficiency. It simultaneously supports all major cellular technologies, from GSM to 5G, and covers mmWave frequencies up to 53 GHz in combination with the downconverter R&S^®TSMS53DC (more info).
