TDK expands compact industrial power supply series with 600 W and 1000 W models

TDK Corporation announces the expansion of the TDK-Lambda brand GUS series of compact, single-output general-purpose power supplies with 600 W and 1000 W models. Designed for applications such as light industrial equipment, factory automation, semiconductor fabrication, ATE test systems, LED lighting, and broadcast, the new models deliver high efficiency, long life, and reliable performance.

The new GUS models provide output voltages of 12, 24, 36, and 48 V, achieving efficiencies of up to 95 % with a load of 30 to 100 %. This enables significant annual energy savings in excess of hundreds of kW hours. Both units feature an internal cooling fan with a low acoustic noise, typically less than 45 dBA, ensuring quiet operation in noise-sensitive environments.

The GUS600 model measures 101.6 x 41 x 152.4 mm (W x H x D), while the GUS1000 has a compact package size of 101.6 x 41 x 177.8 mm. The models feature an operating temperature range of -20 to +70 °C and are backed by a three-year warranty. The output voltage can be adjusted for non-standard system voltages, and output remote on/off is available as an option (more info).
